The higher the FPS the better. Anything over 30 is ok for gameplay but 60+ is optimal. Anything over 120+ FPS you won't really see a difference.

Yeah, above 60 it should be okay, but that means your fps must be about 100-110 to get 60 fps while recording.

More FPS = good

but for normal playing until 100 is perfectly, but your eyes won't see any difference at stable 30FPS anyway. For recording, 150 FPS should be well enough.
