Your fingers and mind need to adapt to the old way of playing it

My advice is : Once you have mastered the PC again, go back to your laptop, because a PC is easier, and if you have mastered the hard way, the easy way will seem as easy as eating a banana cream pie
Trust me, I use my Laptop :P -

Nope.dll
If that was the case for him, he'd be amazing with his desktop since he "mastered" his laptop. -

Wait... you were playing with a laptop's track-pad for that long?
You're going to have to use trial and error to find the settings best for you. -
Try to adjust your settings till you're comfortable with them or try to adapt to your current ones , i'm sure you'll get back in the zoneOk, i have been playing cf on my desktop pc, but it broke, so i have been foreced to play on my laptop. You can't tell people what sensitivity you use as every mouse/computer/mousepad is different.
It depends on the dpi and how fast you are able to move the mouse, how far you can move the mouse. Giving random numbers with your sens will not help.
I use 0 sens and 21 for scopes. - Yeah, like that would help. -
Do you guys have precision enhancement on? For the people who don't know, it's a PC thing where if you move your mouse fast it moves more quickly on screen, and if you move your mouse slow its easier to control on screen.
If you're telling people to turn precision enhancement on..
*facepalm*
First, download MarkC mousefix, this will fix your mouse acceleration. Next, go move onto your control panel, go to mouse, select pointer options, and make sure "enhance pointer precision" is off. On your mouse, make sure you have 125 hz, and make sure you have all your drivers for your mouse. Use a low dpi, suck as 400 or 900, so your aim is more consistent. Also, try not going over 30 sensitivity.
As for getting better, do TD a lot. Try only 1 tapping or 2 tapping to improve your aim.
Credits to ryangi since I pretty much just summarized some of the stuff he wrote on this thread
EDIT: You people should stop saying "I use 20 sens and 26 scopes sens". It's pointless because one person could be using it with 400 dpi and the other could be using it with 3500 dpi. -

Without it on it actually screws up how my hand-to-eye coordination works....it's not point to point anymore, it becomes point to "aw, damn, I missed that shot because I stopped my hand thinking the mouse was going to be in the right spot but it's NOT because humans aren't mathematically precise to move the mouse with their hands to the mentally calculated area with something as small as a cursor".
Been using it for years...no one is gonna tell me to turn it off (not to mention most people learn how to use the mouse with it on from day 1...) now that it's engrained in my mind...
Ingame mouse sensitivity is about 22 and 25 scoped. -
Fine -.- but tell me the sensitivity you use in-game for like S&D matches or TD.
you can't ask such things because it depends on the mouse, the drive, the type of sensor, the windows sensivity, the crossfire sensivity, the driver sensivity and all together it give you the global setting, what you got to do is to adjust slowly what's the sensivity you like, also try little web game where you got to evade things with the mouse it will let you get back the flow of movement in your hand with a mouse. -
