Why widescreen resolutions?

so they suddenly do a patch focusing on resolutions etc, and then kids complain that the bugs havent been fixed//ui bugs still there//no new content added...
be assured, it has been noted, and passed on to the devs, but some things take priority. -

Unplayable? I'm not even sure if I'm aware of such bugs.
I'm using 1680x1050 at the moment, can easily switch to 1920x1080 but sitting in front of a 27" screen with such a high resolution gives me a headache. -

Not everyone has the space for a desktop lol. I have a desktop and it used to be set up but things change (pregnancy) and then BAM no room for the desktop no more

I use a laptop, and no, higher resolutions don't really matter to me :P
It's about the gamer himself, if he is good enough, he will be a pro even if the game's pixels are widely visible
AND IT'S REALLY HARD TO PLAY WITHOUT A MOUSE, JUST YOUR TOUCHPAD.
I really wish to know, why does my ping spike, my touchpad goes crazy, I start sitting in a bad way for gaming, and the air gets really hot suddenly, when I start playing with a Mod :P -
