Solution for "forged files"

This actually worked, but it causes other problems.(maybe its just me)
this requires ppl who can play crossfire right now perfectly.
1st delete your crossfire folder containing all the files
2nd get somone to send you or dl a new crossfire folder that works
3rd click on the g4box icon and play(located in the crossfire folder)
if anyone can improve this solution plz tell me ty

side effects may include game not loading, after exiting game it wont load
if this happens repeat step 1-3 if it dosent work ur screwed until somone else finds another solution
