Sometimes i hate the noobs on crossfire
every game i get noobs who think that there good and when you kill them you get whispered so much abuse from it -.- stuff like this just everygame
its funny though becuase they call me a noob major that is just a farmer noob and so i reply to them well then you suck worse because you got killed by a "farming" noob but its just meh so much abuse for being a rank

Quite right.I mean look at all the low rank players in the room.Its nothing to be proud about posting here on forums.Yet after owning all these low rankers,he still feels the need to call them all noobs on forums.Go play uk4 or echo8.Instead of farming K/D on kindergarden servers and whinging. -

And you will find rooms filled with 10 Turks and 5 Egyptians and get kicked because they think you hack or just want you out. -

Are you kidding u go play in Alpha server or what ever noob server and farm on noobs ? dude go play UK 4 your score is 7-7 or lower! Alpha is a noob server if my KDR is bad , i fix it there -.- -
I don't mind noobs. Everyone is a noob to some extent, at some point.
What I do mind are the dumbass kidiots.
Your confusing noob for newb.
Newb or newbie means new player.
A player that is new and learning to play the game.
Everyone starts out as a newb, how long the are one depends on how fast they learn.
Noob:
Annoying player that relies on others for nearly everything and makes no effort at the game.
Expects everything to be given and blames others for their mistakes or losses.
(Runescape is ultimately to blame for causing the definition to be forgotten do to the noobs using noob as a general insult with no context because they got called it a lot themselves) -

Use the block chat function ingame, use the block list to ignore specific people in lobby's, disable whispers.
Oh yea learn to not comment back in chat.

If you pay them attention, then you give them satisfaction and verification to troll on.. I don't pay attention to the chat while playing.
The most I'll say in chat is " lol nice one <insert IGN here>" or something of that sort. -

As a MOD I do sometimes have to chat around, it's part of the job to maintain the connection between players and staff.
But when people start talking about not-so-nice things, even if it isn't directed at me... Well I gotta make note of that and ask them politely that they discontinue such chat. If they don't well I'll report it.
But even as a MOD while ingame I think it's easy enough to keep up chat with just a simple "gg" or "ns" or something like that.
I'm pretty silent during GM though hehe -

I have been a mod for almost 2yrs.. Socializing with the community is awesome. But laying down the thumb and making sure they follow rules is also part of the title.. Which is why I applied. Something I enjoy doing.VATAV +1 for your explantation on newbs and noobs. Wish cf had more players like you - -
People tend to confuse the two. It's nice when someone can explain them.
