SCAR L takes away your skill?

Around the time I started to headshot alot, I started using the SCARL. Eventually I completely stopped using the SG552(not going to argue if its a noob gun or not) and started using the SCARL. At first, it was more beneficial to use, but eventaully, I became worse, and I couldn't headshot anymore. It was almost like a Leech, draining the skill out of me and making me worse, instead of getting me better scores. This is the main reason I never use this gun. Anyone else ever had the same situation, or had a drain on their skills from the SCARL?

Yep. Other than the fact that it requires no real skill to use the scar or m12, it also drains your skills. Took me forever to get back to burst firing instead of spraying a clip and getting random headshots.

Yea, I've come across this as well. Scar Light is so easy to use that you kind of forget everything you learned about your previous weapon.

When I use Scar and M12 a lot, I fail with ordinary rifles, and vice versa.

Well, your skills will not be as degraded if you use the Scar Light if you use it a specific way. If you literally can onetap them, quickswitch to another weapon and back, and pull out the weapon again, then your skill may not be as degraded. But I mean you could still do that with any other weapon and there is no point to use a Scar Light in that case.

its actually happens with me for other weaps, when i first used the ak, i suked but then i got better and that was the only gun i could use. Then i went to m4 and lost my ak skills, now im going to try to do both

You just become used to the lack of recoil. Start playing with an AK for some games and it will all come back to you.

m4a1 gold is kind of similar, for me i just spray in the direction of a couple people(mad spray) *headshot, double-kill, multi-kill* then i won patriot and i couldnt use it for shizz

I'm very versatile because when I first played I just dropped the M16 for what ever gun was in front of me. I really didn't feel that the SCAR L was OP, mainly because I don't spray at anything with any gun more than 5 meters away from me even when I was a noob.

I rarely use one gun constantly besides my snipers and Gatling gun.

Use the Famas, it will sharpen your skills.

I try to use as much guns as possible to keep myself capable. Also, I'm using AK-Scope on a regular bases. Once you master that gun, you can use pretty much anything else with ease.

Well I myself find that it takes away from what skill that I had. After even 3 or 4 games, I can't shoot at anything with an M4 or an AK.

My aim got f***ed up after I got my 1k smg kills for the badge.

Now "training" with my regular m4 again, but I just see myself spraying like mad >.<
Whenever I picked up the sl before, I was bursting/single shotting and not spraying with it. So it all depends on how u use it. I sold my sl long time ago to buy qbz crates lol

And because of that I use only two main-weapons

AK-Knife/M4-Silver & AWM-Camo.

But because of that I can't one-tap with my M14. I just can't.

Well, but you're right, as I started to play CF I bought XM8-Adv crates and won a four weeks Scar Light and well, it was my main-gun and I couldn't play well with my M4A1 after it expired.

EDIT: Even today I can't. :rolleyes:

To me it doesn"t matter what i used i can used any gun and do good I don't know why you guys consider them noob weapon because honestly u can used an OP gun
and not do good. Everything is based on your iming skills not then gun z8 provide...

You have to agree though that there's more recoil on a BB gun than on the m12 in this game..

I understand your point but there are guns that are just flat-out too easy to handle and deliver way too much damage way too quickly. I understand if it's a zp/temp or crate weapon but if it's a permanent GP weapon, it shouldn't be as devastating..

I think if you use the m12 long enough you have no skill with ak or m4

Exactly. Same with the AK-Gold. Instead of aiming I started to get into the habit of over spraying 0.o

All guns are similar to me, cause all I aim for is the head feels pretty much the same. Although it does appear to be simpler to get hs but not that big of a difference.
