Hacking Report

Again, i'm still upset about the fact that there are many knife(one shot kill) hackers. Anyway, when i report it asks ''Rounds that hacking occured'' What does it mean??

Comments

  • It means the time/rounds the hacking has occurred, so that the support team can skip to that specific part so that it saves time instead of watching the entire replay.

For example, when the score 6-6, was when the hacking started. etc

I've seen 2 hackers in the last 1-2 weeks. One was a waller while the other was a one shot with a knife, both in GM :/
So the hacking situation is much better than it used to be. Playing in October last year was horrible.
8v8 TD Match = 2 V 3 TD Match because of hackers :/ Everyone else either goes 2/20 or RQs
  • @CryingMonkey; So in your example we would fill in round (6) or (6-6)?
  • I normaly indicate the round not the score, but this system should be better since normaly, hackers, hack all the game.
  • As long as Z8 is too slow in banning people and still KEEP KNOWN HACKERS in game, the situation is never going better!!!
There are some alomst complete clans in in front of clanlist whicha rea full of hackers, reported bye reply more than 1 time! But maybe they buy a lot of ZP. Staff is only organized in making money, they sh.it on reports and legit playing as long they all waste their money for ZP!
  • It means if it was a 9 round game, and the hacker was there for 6 rounds, you say 6 rounds. If you don't know for sure, say the minimum number of rounds that you know for sure.

I wouldn't waste my time though. Out of all of the people I've reported for hacking who had their "Honorable Soldier" ribbons when I report them, not one person has lost that ribbon. In other words they don't do anything about hackers.

It would actually be round 13 in the game where the hacking occurred.

You don't know if Z8 is too slow or not.
You also are assuming that complete clans are hacking. Maybe it's true, maybe it isn't.
But for sure I won't be taking your word for it as another player. If YOU are so sure... then send in hack reports of each player you've seen ingame with your OWN EYES hacking.
  • I think that field needs to be cleared up.

Normally I'll just write "1" or some random number, but thoroughly explain in the "additional comments"
  • The description in a Support Ticket is there for a reason, you should always add the round the hacking occured (the most obvious preferably), the username of the hacker, and any additional information that may help the investigators.
  • 2 hackers in the last 1-2 weeks
Now that's funny, I see 10 everyday. You must be one of them guys trying to make CF look good. Anyone who has played this game long knows there are many many hacks. Go play a missions map right now, bet there's a hack are 2 in the game, Pick any server any room, yeah that's how bad it is.

Let me explain something to you: Camping is not hacking; knowing where people usually camp and shooting there immediately is not hacking; Bhopping (moving completely invisible and no step sound) in GM is not hacking; Ping pointing (listening to ghost breath in both ears) is not hacking; Being able to aim better than you is not hacking (I have an acquaintance who does not hack and can get 80% head shots with M16 when he first started to play crossfire. His KDR in Counter Strike is like a 40); being able to control recoil really well is not hacking; lagging is not hacking, its an annoying glitch that people exploit knowingly or unknowingly.

So your point is? This game is hack free, yeah thats it.

His point is, you're not always right. No one is. Ive been playing cf since suba and there were times were the hacking situation was just egregious, I agree. But since I came back in April, ive only seen a few hacks here and there, just a few hackers per week.
  • When it asks to fill out Rounds that Hacking Occurred you simply put the round you were in when you spotted the enemy hacking. For a TDM game you always put 1 round, in a gm/em/snd game it depends on score. If the score is 5-5, you're in the 11th round of the game so you put in 11.
