Just a little question about sniping.

Could be either to do with ping difference, or luck. As you said, you aren't able to hit people while doing a jump shot because the bullet goes to a random location, however, if you're lucky, maybe that bullet will actually hit your target.
For jumpshots, I usually wait until I hit the ground before shooting. Probably not the most professional method, but it'll definitely get you some kills. -
Have you tried crouching mid-air as you are shooting?
Also, some people shoot right when they hit the ground, and the lag shows other players that the player doing the jumpshot is in the air (while shooting), when he has actually just hit the ground. -
Nothing you guys said is the answer but ill tell you, if they snipe you in the air and your in uk4 the guy who killed you was Egyptian(100% serious). Their version of quick scope is *aim**right**left**switch* not *right**aim**left**switch
they put a piece of clear tape with a cross hair on their computer screen so they just aim>right click>left click=dead
....just ruined sniping for ever -

Don't give them ideas... -
Except people have been putting tape on their screen or a black dot for a long time...Nothing you guys said is the answer but ill tell you, if they snipe you in the air and your in uk4 the guy who killed you was Egyptian(100% serious). You seem very confused about how things work in CF, aren't you?Nothing you guys said is the answer but ill tell you, if they snipe you in the air and your in uk4 the guy who killed you was Egyptian(100% serious). Believe it or not, no scoping is fairly accurate if you know how to do it.
Not, I tried no scoping in every single situation, it's rarely ever accurate, tried no scoping while crouching in orbital, tried basically everything and it was just luck entirely. -
dont call me stereotypical or confused, the fact is i dont use this technique, i asked someone(LT colonel) how they got so good at quickscoping, he told me he started like this then eventually he just got used to the location of it, i tried this technique once and i totally failed with it, im better at scope>aim>shoot, infact im really good at it, i took your comments as insults as you might have noticed just im just informing you

You will fine snipers in this game, who are using Aimbot or One Hit Hack.
It's sad, but true....Using a one hit weapon like the AWM, is a cover up for there hacks.
Why would someone need a 1 hit hack when using an awm. It's a 1 hit kill sniper already, they would have to be really bad and shooting at peoples feet all the time to need it.
OT- You just have to crouch in the air and the shot should be 100% accurate all the time. Try it out on orbital, that's why you see a lot of the better players crouching when they are in the air on that map. On other maps you have to have your timing just right to perform jump shots since you have such a small window to perform it. -
If you're talking about jumping off, then it's all luck.
Bleh, none of you read do you...
At the peak of the jump, there is about 5 ms where the shot is 100% accurate.MonsterSquad wrote: »OT- You just have to crouch in the air and the shot should be 100% accurate all the time. That's only for OS. Jumping and shooting does not work.
