Hack tool detected??

my 2nd time playing crossfire today and after i log on it says they detected a hack tool i dont hack and i rarely play this game this is only my second time is their a bug?

Reinstall, disable anti virus.
Just a program interfering CrossFire.

ah ok thx but i was wondering if i kept my antivirus on would it still interfere and possibly case me a ban? i dont really prefer disabling it since i hve already disabled 2 antivirues and a while back i got a virus other than that re-installing crossfire wnt be a problem

"Hack Tool Detected" may mean that something is interfering with xtrap/Crossfire, or it could just be trying to tell you that there's an error; since Hack Tool Detected seems to be a common way of telling you there was some sort of malfunction.

In your case, it's probably just the server telling you it's an error. It happens to everyone, unfortunately, just re-login, and it should be fine. You wont be banned because of your anti-virus.

it is annoying though i get it to and its a real pain when your doing really good it just happened to me while is was going 25-2 =(

That's unfortunate, sorry for that. However, you can avoid getting errors like "Hack Tool Detected" by turning off overlay programs, such as Skype, xFire, anti-viruses, Fraps, etc.
