I think it has something to do with the font changes you made to CF. His clan name on the clan page looks nothing like the name in-game (http://clan.z8games.com/clanstat_cf.aspx?guildid=192668: ÌìÉÏÈË¼ä¡ï).

1. Go To C:\Windows\Fonts, and copy SimSun.
2. Search up "Default.ttf" in your Cross Fire Folder.
3. Paste, then Rename "SimSun.ttf" to Default.ttf and replace the "Default.ttf".
4. Start Up The Game and Check if that Font worked for Chinese Characters.

Is your computer Chinese? I made mine read and type Chinese but it's still English.

Should be able to go to control panel and change the language to English + ONE other language. I did that and I can type Chinese in chat, although some really simple characters don't show up. They just show up as a giant space.

He modded the ranks, and just simply changed the fonts on his windows to read chinese.

Only people who have Chinese installed on their computer will be able to read it. Other than that, it'll come up like weird characters. Similar to these, ÌìÉÏÈË¼ä¡ï.
