"thanks" button

say another suggestion about "like" buttons and i thought it would be cool to have thanks buttons, many forums have these and i believe it will make the forums more fun and even competitive

This is a forum, not facebook. I like it the way it is. Though I'd like "Report For Spam" button, it just msgs MODs to delete/edit posts, etc.

Meh, maybe there could be a "Not Spam" button for my "Report for Spam" button.

I've seem similar functions on other forums. I think they were called 'reputation points' there. I don't really mind if something like this is implemented but it wouldn't bother me if it isn't.

this is why i suggested it, their is no need to insult a suggestion or compare it to something that it isnt, i realize i did it myself but a thanks button would be quite useful and it seems meaningful to have something like this, do you know our forum has less users that play crossfire than the famous haacking site does, i find that kind of sad

Knowing players of CrossFire, there would be an infinite amount of abuse on the "Thanks" button because of peoples' alt. Accounts. I guess you base the forums off of the IP it would stop a part of it, but not too much.

First off all, those thanks buttons existed before Facebook. Facebook stole the like button from the forums.

but people will just abuse the thanks button to s*ck each others d*cks.

Also only forums with little kids have those thanks buttons.
