Try running Cross Fire through the patcher. To find this:

Go to Computer> C: Drive> Program Files/Program Files (x86)> Z8Games> CrossFire> patcher_cf.exe

Double click that or "Run as Administrator" and see if it works. Using this s**** the process of starting CF through the launcher which you seem to be having issues with.

If this doesn't work, I'd suggest completely removing Cross Fire and all of it's components from your computer through uninstalling at your Control Panel, then re-downloading CF from the website, and try the launcher again.

This is a different problem from what he is having. HGW is now going through and scanning every .rez file which is causing it to slow down/freeze. Patience can reward you, but sometimes it will just stop. Many people have had this problem, including me. What I did to fix this was delete my HGWC Folder (Located in your CrossFire Folder) completely and restart CF. HGW will automatically patch and create a new folder, so you don't need to worry about replacing it. Please note that this did not work for everybody.
