Black screen loading in and out of games

I'm running Windows 7 32bit and when I play CF, as I join a game, the loading screen with the map shows progressing usually about half way.

Immediately after, my screen turns black for usually a minute or more, and then returns to the loading screen and then the game.

This also happens when a game ends or I exit, save for the ending black screen lasts at LEAST two minutes, making me the slowest to get IN game and the slowest to get out.
What can I do to fix this?

    Mine has been doing this for a long time. I figured it was just my computer being stupid as usual :P
