Game Won't Start

Turn on my computer. Double click crossfire on my desktop. Click start game. The page with "start game" on it disappears and the game doesn't start. When i try to run crossfire again it says patch client is already running. I have rebooted, cleaned registry. I was playing fine yesterday, so uninstalling won't do anything. Please do not give me crap answers like firewall and anti virus. It was working fine yesterday and everything is the same today except the game won't start. Helpful answers or don't answer at all.

uhmm hi im mib_cheese i really dont think your firewall and anti virus would do anything this has happened to me before. and i just remembered i needed 2 update my pc so you should try that 2

Problem solved. There was a process by the name of "prmrsr.exe" which was a Trojan/Backdoor. For some reason it was stopping crossfire from running. I ended that process and removed it from my PC.

Cross fire wont start

It says every time i hit start it says Patch is running so im like wtf i tried all compatabilitys and i checked fire wall what should i do

Same happened to me, a few virus attackeed me, just cleaned and all was fine
