Hi there...
My system:
OS W7 64
CPU 27K
DDR3 8GB
ANti VIR NOD32
ping in UK...34/44

ERROR is wille loading,it loading till 9/18% and shows: File is changed:W[2007] L[0]
rez/RF019.REZ.

I discovered that after nick change but i dont belive is something to do ^__^.Soo....hope u find the problem....days are count down on my ZP items and dont thing that u will refund them....so....... HURRRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried reinstall it? Your CrossFire is either corrupted, some files missing.

You could try doing a manual patch, this seems to solve most File Missing errors.

Make sure you have your anti-virus turned off whenever you try to patch, as it may attempt to cleanse your files, removing essential bits and pieces.

.i got new one..like u sayed ..turn off NOD32 coz he is not *happy wen i try to down CF fro zGmaes.I try manualy update.........i just fell frustration.

Keep reinstalling until u wont get this error again, i had this problem to and ive solved with this.

Please note that file is changed errors are likely not related to the 99% loading HGW problem.

For file changed errors there are a few scenarios that might have happened:

1. Your download of the game was corrupted or changed. This could be due to a broken connection or your firewall or anti virus scanning the downloaded file and made changes.

2. You have manually modified a rez file. Rez file modifications are against the rules and may lead to bans. Some hacks also modify rez files and can get you banned.

3. You have a virus on your computer which is causing problems with xtrap or the game.

3a. Make sure to add the CF Folder to the exceptions list in your anti virus, but make sure to scan the rest of your computer for viruses.

3b. Some hacks may have caused problems like this, either past or present. You may have to scan your computer including your cf folders to clean them out. But doing so may cause you down have to redownload the game.

4. Since the game works 100% from the download link on a computer (we have and always test this function) a file changed problem is most likely something on the end-user level and difficult to troubleshoot. In all cases we recommend completely uninstalling Cross Fire and redownloading a new version.

And as always, please do not hack or modify rez files!

don't work... i installed a new windows xp and redownloaded it and installed cf and again 99% stoped

..all done..My NOD32 troubling system..well i got new AntiVir Norton 2012 90trial...Wile i try uninstal(manualy from Program Files coz i cant find it in Control Panel Uninstal's which was ODD!!no zGmaes or CF???! ) OLD CF was error..>> fille corupted(unins000)??..how ?...but anyway i deleted all(right klick).... instaled Norton and he find 23 troubles/23 resolved...OK.After that i got down NEW CF instaler and was no *trouble to download it commpare to NOD32 which refuse to do it.Now all good...t*** foer advice ..and one more thing ...out there is many good dudes which dont hack and they dont thing to do it....hope u find better ways to protect CF coz last time was really big wave of hacks seen in GMs...THXX for everything ........... Please follow the instructions in this thread to help out the developers come up with a solution.

Do everything Saidin suggested, this would likely solve your issue, as he pretty much suggested what I'd suggest. The problem is usually due to an anti-virus program that is making changes to the files that are being downloaded because they are being detected as false-positives.

For Norton, you'll have to search up a YouTube tutorial on how to completely uninstall it, because that anti-virus is a serious pest, and will do what it takes to stay on your computer.

You said you've tried the "selfupdate_cf" thing, but have you tried the "patcher_ cf" ? That one usually works better.
