HGW Game Watcher Error!!!

Whenever I click on "Start" from the CrossFire G4 box, the HGW game watcher box pops up, and always freezes at 99% loaded, saying "Checking......." Any solutions to this problem? I have heard re-installing the game may fix it, but also that it may not :-/

Please participate in this data collection thread for this issue. [GM]Saidin and his team are going to find a solution soon enough. There is also a possible solution in that thread, try that out.

Thanks once again, c0lder. But alas, I have already tried their deletion method, and I may have to try re-installing CrossFire again.

Im also having that problem with it freezing at 99% and not even moving

I deleted the HGW but I dont know where to download it again lol

You're not supposed to delete HGWC.exe, only the folder named 'hgwc'. If you deleted HGWC.exe, go to your Recycle Bin, restore the program, and drag it back to your Crossfire folder, then delete the hgwc FOLDER inside the Crossfire folder. Then, reboot Crossfire, and your client should auto-patch.

I deleted the one in crossfire It says HGWC with a orange logo, But when I try to start crossfire again it says failed to execute the hgwc

You may be able to find it off of Google, but at this point you should just reinstall Crossfire. Make sure to uninstall it first...

I was being dumb I was thinking about the HGWC on your computer not CF , I meant to say the CF HGWC lol
