How bad AMD is

Old cards are capable of using wddm 1.2, a driver display model (the one supported in Windows 8). I'm not buying a radeon card again. I always loved nvidia drivers. Amd driver division is damn lazy.

I was a computer tech like 2 years ago and I ahve been doing that job for years. like 5-6 years .
I ve tested some games and got better results with AMD With ATI and GIGABYTE components than INTEL with nVidia and any mainboard.
The difference is not extremely different but there was a difference.
Intel is better for applications( programs, databases etc)
AMD is better for graphics. (Gaming etc)
This doesnt mean they dont do good job for other processes( like AMD with database and intel with games)
People may think other way. Thats what I saw and believe.
My computer is AMD and I can play multiple games at same time lol
I can just change to the other game with alt+tab without no lag or freeze -

mainboard.
nuff said.
OT: AMD have never been as good as nVidia//Intel. They have just been cheaper for similar specced equipment...eg a $400 amd rig will do better at gaming than a $400 intel rig traditionally...
recently, not so much difference. -

Intel. Nice. -
My amd is more then enough for what I do and I do multiple things. Paired with two Cards in crossfire, 16gbs RAM, SSD, Watercooled. No hiccups. Does everything and more. Also who care if they discontinued old cards. Upgrade.
Future changes daily. If you are into tech and haven't figured that out. Sux to be you.

I mean, you don't really need a lot to run this game. However I prefer nVidia GPU's vs Radeons. But for CPU, I like those new amd-fx series. They are all unlocked, runs cool and fast, and very cheap with multi-cores. You can get a 3.6Ghz 4-core CPU from amd for like 110$. Intel is kinda overpriced and tend to run hotter, but they are very good too. If you're budget building, go amd. If you can spend as much as you want, go with intel i series or if you want to max it out: Intel 3960X, The CPU that is 1,000$...................

I generally don't follow intel anymore. They are really slow and their integrated graphics suck. But for GPU, i go nVidia, I'm not into amd-ati radeons.
Intel is severely overpriced tho... -
AMD is only bad if it charges a lot of money, but for the money it asks, it is reasonable.
AMD Graphic cards are on par with Nvidia. Though Nvidia has more support for linux.
AMD is behind Intel right now, but it was as good as Intel at some point before Sandybridge came out.
AMD can pull ahead in the future if Intel slacks off. -
