That's rather the quickest...
The best is if you play what you like, and don't care about your rank.
If you want the quickest way without farm then I would say TDM Egypt 12 minutes (8v8).

Elimination gives substantially greater EXP per kill than other modes, afaict.
Try that.

I just dislike not having my trusty ZP/BP weapons.

Elimination and SnD give a ton of experience. If you buy the 50%+ EXP item along with a few other items of clothing which boost EXP, you'll be going up the ranks in no time.

Mutant mode 17 rounds gives the best exp, am i wrong here?

You can get EXP 50%+ for 7, 30 or 90 days.

EXP 50%+ 7 days = 1700 ZP
EXP 50%+ 30 days = 4700 ZP
EXP 50%+ 90 days = 11700 ZP

Of course, the longer you by it for, the cheaper it costs per day.

EXP is mostly based on kills.
So play the mode that gets you kills the quickest.
I'd suggest Knife sewers if you have a good ZP melee.
TDM Egypt if your good at TDM but don't have good melee.
ESC mode (anymap) if TDM isn't to your liking.

Play against me, i'm a baddie

For teamdeath match try to deal as much damage as you can/ kill as many to get MVP and ACE + getting the LAST KILL will give you plenty of exp same goes to s&D

also even in elimination you don't get alot of kills you still end up with a lot of exp if you stay the whole round.
