You're just missing files, do what propaganda said, reinstall.

Before uninstalling I will do it and I will tell you if it worked or not, I'm having the same problem and not using avast.

just remove RF034.REZ from rez folder and will work

Red - Hope your not serious.

Green - Windows (specifically Ntldr) uses the Boot.ini file to determine which operating system options to display when the Startup program is running. By default, Boot.ini is not flagged as a read-only system file and generally does not require any manual modification.

Do not remove the file from CF Folders, it was just a test made by the devs to test new anti-hack measures, the problem is now solved, you can start crossfire normally.

Nah I figured it was hence the word "Hope".

Also not many people even know what or where or why it is even there in regards to the boot.ini.
