Problem with Patching the game

Hi, i've downloaded Crossfire today and now i have a big problem with patching the game after i have installed it. First time i tried to patch it, it quits at 50% with an error note. When i tried it second time, it quits without error note. Now it quits just when i start patching it. Is there anything i can do?

    Bring up task manager -CLT+ALT+Delete and find the patch process and kill it. Then try again--if the patcher doesnt appear in the first minute or so then shut down and reboot.

    Crossfire, in my times with the patcher and friends is that you have to keep starting it. It has never worked through and through, im assuming its due to the size and install it all. Regardless-keep trying.

    This actually happened to a friend last night or the night before--The error message you are getting is also the error message when the crossfire servers are down for a patch. Not that they are-but the patch part very well could be, it seems its been happening around this same time.....

    ALSO-Make sure your running crossfire as admin, and its suggested you turn off anti-viris programs while it patches. I personally dont-but z8 says so, up to you mate.

    i got the same thing but ery time i downlode the game i get the same thing
