CrossFire doesn't have sound

I bought this new headphones and i cant hear anything, the headphones work because i can hear videos and sound but it doesn't want to work at crossfire. i already check the settings and everything is good. And I already tested with other headphones that work and still doesn't wanna work at crossfire. how can i fix this problem??

Does this include all sound, or can you hear some things, such as radio messages?

If your headphones have any firmware, search online the exact name of your headphones, and see if there are any updates.

this happend to me two. the way you fix it is on the low right corner there is the time then volume control . left click on the volume control and go to play back devices.then disable everything but your headphones. or just take off all enhancements.

no i cant hear anything not even radio messages just like if you were muting the game
and my headphones don't have firmware

While in a game press ESC then press options then go to sound see if someone lowered it or its on mute.

Follow these directions.

1. Open up crossfire
2. log in with your username and password
3. then click on a server and channel
4. join a game
5. when your in game press ESC, this should be on the top left of your keyboard
6. Click options then click sound
7. make sure the game volume is not muted if it is unmute it
8. Then you should be able to hear. Also make sure u scroll the bar to 100%

If this doesn't work I have no idea what could be wrong.
