Yeah, American ones are terrible. Almost as terrible as those British ones.
Nah.. I got to agree.. a lot of stand up comedians that are shown on american tv are pretty terrible. I usually end up preferring people who find other means of showing off their stand-up such as local clubs. -

A majority of them are, but not all.
Don't forget Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard, Sean Lock also. Brilliant comedians. -
