Yes, your computer specifications are quite capable of running Crossfire. Have you checked to see if there are any driver updates for your graphics card? As an NVIDIA user, open the NVIDIA panel, go to Help, and click "Updates".

Look at this picture guys , when i tried manual patch , this means a file missed , before i try the manual patch , i deleted all crossfire folders and documents .. but i found that HGWC file is open in task manger [Note : i didn`t open the game i found HGWC in task manger]

okay okay... we're getting there, you said you copied your brother crossfire game into your computer and that didn't work.
well than i believe it's not the game that's the problem... it's something in your computer that's messing everything up.

That file came out Janurary 17th, how come you didn't already have it? The manual patch only includes the most recently updates rez files, but since you didn't have 020, my manual patch didn't help you.
Strange, did you tamper with your files at some point, or have you ever had an anti-virus running while playing Crossfire?
WAIT A SECOND. Why did you delete all your Crossfire folders? You weren't supposed to do that for a manual patch, as a lot of essential files in the Crossfire folders were not included in the manual patch. Reinstall crossfire, then do the manual patch again, but only replace the ones you downloaded with the ones in your Crossfire folder, do NOT delete your Crossfire folder. -
I have the same problem but i can play the first game then always blocking.Only stays that image when loading.In task manager writes that crossfire is not responding and only then i can exit the game,when i turned it off in task m.But it always blocked on second game not first.

okay try creating a new user account for your computer and install the game there with the antivirus disabled... let me know if it works. -
The error description is this: "Some functions of the operating system are not working properly due to external program. Please, close any program which is affecting game client"
Windows 7 updates quite a bit, since it's still somewhat a new operating system. These updates may interfere with XTrap, as they wont be compatable. Try doing a System Restore to a VERY early date, such as when you first got Windows 7, as this should get rid of the newer updates which interfere with XTrap. -
Don't reinstall anything this is a bug that happens in HMX for some reason. Z8 is aware of it and they've been trying to fix it as you see alpha down for maintainence everyday =.=. Simply an unintended glitch that came with the new patch his computer is perfectly fine.

No no no... Happened to me in ghost mode game. - - I didn't touch my computer for a couple of days and this started happening to me. It makes my cursor disappear too... So it makes closing crossfire even harder. -
I try everything but no succses.It appeard 2 days ago,i didnt download any program or file,or make any changes on computer i read all threads u have wrote about this error and try them out but no results.I use nod antivirus program it worked fine with it i dont think that is the issue.As i can see this is the problem that appears to more players each day so i belive that the problem is at the game it self but i dont understand how can others play.AND ALWAYS THE SECOND GAME I PLAYED GET BLOCKED NOT FIRST.I GET IN THE GAME NORMAL,LOGIN NORMAL,1st GAME LOADED AND PLAYED NORMAL BUT SECOND I TRY TO PLAY BLOCKED.
