New Melee - Ancient Greek Swords for APOLLO Temple Guardians

It's called a Gladius. Not a bad suggestion because the gladius was designed to deliver as much impact from a blow with one hand as it would from a two-handed swing. Something to do with it's shape and weight distribution. Was quite an ingenious design.

I'd say it doesn't really fit in with the game's aesthetic, except there's a stupid wizard's sword(kris) and that goofy looking nightmare blade. So why the hell not?

*edit: The romans used gladius's. I dunno bout the greeks but these look similar enough to the roman gladius.

I like it and it gives Z8 a reason to make Roman themed character clothes (a breast plate and a helmet would be pretty cool). If we have the katana, we can have a western sword

So you want a sword... Just for your clan..?

OT: Meh, I'm happy with the katana as a sword in the game. Gold is shiny.

Seems more like you only want suggestions that go with your clans theme... No single clan has that much pull in this community. I still have to say no to this idea. Cross Fire is supposed to be a modern FPS game, and that's already being pushed to the limit with ZM, MM/HM-X, and GM. Plus the katana and Kris in combat.
