Crossfire Won't Start

Hey Guys. I have been playing for a few years now and today Crossfire just wouldn't start. I've tried every program to optimize my computer and get rid of viruses and well as reinstalling the program. Although the Start button comes up when I click it the patcher only shows for a moment before dissapearing. The patcher is then no longer in the processes in the task manager. No anti-virus programs are running either. Any suggestions?
