Lieutenant likes to clan war, but not winning sometimes.
One of our Lts likes to clan war against stronger teams, since he is very good. But sometimes he would go with less experienced teammates and lose.
I tried to tell him that we need to bring up the winning rate, but he just wanted to do clan war with strong teams.
He gets upset whenever I say not to fight armored teams, or teams that obviously will beat us.
We are a casual clan but we do clan war everyday or so. We like to have fun and win at clan war.
How do you deal with a good but stubborn teammate?

We rank at around 2000th now.
We did play a lot of strong teams in the beginning when we started, when we were not as good. We lost 20 matches before winning the first one. We are still at below 40% winning rate. We have a lot more good players now and we got better as well. But there were times when players didn't want to join us because our winning rate was "teribad".DDOS_Exploit wrote: »Give him a warning otherwise your clan KD would be teribad. We are friends. I won't kick him. I need a solution to satisfy both our clan needs and his needs. -
If you kick him, tell me, I will recruit him. That's the member I'm looking for.
I really do like him, he doesn't dodge decent clan. That the one I need for long time. The number kdr, win/lose of clan and him self is not any mean to him. Great! I love enthusiasm people.
If you don't kick him, I think you guys need more teamwork skill. I wonder how many AC clan you can dodge. Keep dodging is not solution, face and fight is the only thing you have to do -
You could tell him that you'll demote him if he doesn't listen to you.DDOS_Exploit wrote: »^ The right way to do it..
I don't think he cares about being a Lt honestly.Gh0st_Slay3r wrote: »recruit more skilled players and kick the ones who constantly keep losing.
We are trying to recruit more skilled players. The ones keep losing we tell them when it is okay for them to join a clan war, e.g. when we play against a weaker team.random1803jr wrote: »tell him to leave the clan because you're weighing him down, or you guys get better.
happened to me when I was in LT, they held me back, and was one of 2 reasons why I left them, and they're "dying" now.
He has another account in a much higher ranked clan.
We have good players like him in our clan. But if he wants to join a pro clan, that's fine. The most important thing is for us to get along and have fun. -

We play against decent clans. But I don't like play against armored teams personally because it is unfair and we tend to lose more than win.
We have played pro clans before.
But now we just want to bring up the winning ratio first, then play with whoever comes along.
I personally hate to lose and play with better teams it is okay as long as it is balanced and fair. -

tell him, join pro clan never get him better. He needs to work with his own clan (your clan) until you get the goal. he shouldn't hide behind the strong team, it won't work for his skill -

That's good to know.
We are coming up pretty fast too.
It was just frustrating to see him in match history bringing two teammates with .5 kdr against opponents with like 1.7 kdrs, and lost outright.
He could just wait until better teammates log on and play with them instead. -

Tell him to join my clan for a week.. -
Keep losing. Get the LT to train your rookies and members on a regular basis. Get back on track. Start winning.
As easy as that.
Thanks for the suggestion. We win a lot too, we just want to minimize loses for the time being.
Anyone has good training techniques let me know. -

That will be awesome. Let me contact you.I'm the leader, if my Lts disobey me I scream and them and they listen. ^_^
If I am a girl I would too lolrandom1803jr wrote: »if you're looking for some GM techniques...huuuhuuuhuuu read my signature
Lol you are funny, we can play ghost mode together for sure. We are mostly SD but might get into GM.
Alright guys,
My ign is Ave_Maria
(it means Hail Mary in Latin)
add me in game or send me a message please -
Hey, we've talked about this before. Our priority is to raise our clan stats first. I thought this wasn't happening anymore...
But hey, you are the leader, you tell us what to do and we follow, we might give you suggestions but in the end, you are the leader.
I know, that you are a good and fair person, but if someone doesn't like or doesn't want to follow the rules, just give him 3 warnings before being kicked. It doesn't really matter if he gets angry or whatever, his stubbornness is affecting all of us, and that is unfair.
Go APOLLO! -
Let him have his fun its a game. Don't let it bother you if your clan stats aren't great. You surely don't want to be the next old legends.
Keep your pride. If you lose stay respectful regardless of how low the opposing clan stoops. If you win be humble. When you playing days with cf are over you can look back and say our stats were a true reflection of who we are.Not just by falsifying the stats by playing strategic clan wars. -
I can train your troops sometimes if I don't get lazy. Training is easy though, and when I train someone I divide the training in several parts:Thanks for the suggestion. We win a lot too, we just want to minimize loses for the time being.
Anyone has good training techniques let me know.
a. Mobility
b. Stealth/Counter-stealth
c. Marksmanship (sniper)
For mobility, get your rookies in TD Prison and get them to train all styles of hopping and jumping in the middle. In the long run it allows players to be more on the move and thus less predictable. Doublejumping/Lagjumping enables a few shortcuts while ND jumping allows not to lose health while falling from great heights.
For stealth/counter-stealth techniques, use ghost mode. Keep in mind that pinpointing and hearing stuff is important not only in GM. Sometimes hearing an opponent changing guns allows you to know it's location and eventually pre-aim/pre-shoot them or ambush them. While bunnyhopping and general stealth allows your units to scout around without being noticed or to ambush effectively.
Marksmanship is the easiest part. Getting to quickscope with an AWM (or better yet, an M700) will make sure that people try to land as much shots into the target as possible. Besides, it gives the much needed pistols training that a lot of players lack. I can't stop counting times when my pistol saved matches and/or enabled more mobility then other players giving me an advantage.
Well whatever, if you decide to send me some people for training, keep me posted. Catcha later. -

That's why I posted the thread. But I don't know if it will be that serious.MisterColors wrote: »Hey, we've talked about this before. Our priority is to raise our clan stats first. I thought this wasn't happening anymore...

We will have to see if he can manage not to lose more than he wins.
But yeah I wish he is as understanding as you are.RumAndCoke wrote: »Let him have his fun its a game. Don't let it bother you if your clan stats aren't great. You surely don't want to be the next old legends.

It's no fun to lose. It is best to play with similar clans until we get a decent stats.I can train your troops sometimes if I don't get lazy. Training is easy though, and when I train someone I divide the training in several parts:

Good tips, how do you do no damage jump?
Yeah let's catch up later.
