Have you waited 5 minutes to see if it'll load without opening Task Manager?
Have you recently downloaded/installed anything out of the ordinary?
Has this always occured?
If you have any anti-virus programs, I'd suggest turning them off,
as they may conflict with Crossfire, causing loading errors. -

Norton is the worst anti-virus protection you can get by the way, next to Mcafee, so this may be your problem.
When you re-downloaded Crossfire, were all your anti-viruses turned off during the download, and the install? Add the whole Crossfire folder to the exceptions list in Norton as well. -

Well many things could be wrong...

lol!... i meant your computer gear (Processor, Graphics, Memory, bla bla)... xD
try what c0lder suggested... I think a file installation didn't went well with the patcher v5... so a manual patch should fix that.
let us know how it goes. -

Your hardware should have nothing to do with this problem.
Since this problem occured around 4 days ago, I'm going to suggest that you do a System Restore: Start > Search > "System Restore". Select the restoration date in which your Crossfire was working (e.g: more than 4 days ago). This method is not recommended if you do work on your computer, as it'll delete any progress/applications you've saved from the restoration point, till' now. Otherwise, it's a very good method, and may solve your problem.
Also, I have a question. Was this problem occuring after, or before the latest patch? -

So this isn't a patch related issue then, thanks for telling me that.and i cant do system restore because i dont have system restore point
That's going to cause some trouble. I'll try and think of more solutions, but at this point in time, I have nothing else to suggest for you. Have you downloaded/installed anything out of the oridinary since this issue occured? -

I'm suggesting it because you stated on a previous post that the only thing you've done was updating your Microsoft Security Essentials, so I'm guessing that's the problem, maybe it detects Xtrap as a false positive... or maybe it's something different we don't know about... yet. -
