Why does it say cannot connect to server?

Today I just went to play, and then for some reason i got disconnected (As in everyone stops moving and then the game freezes) and I had to quit via task manager. I check my internet, and it was fine, but when I try to log in again it stays at the Hgw watcher for like 2 min and it says cannot connect to server... Someone help????
