Buying new PC. (Desktop)

K well you have options here.
CPU: AMD Phenom / AMD Athlon X2. i5 if you can stretch the wallet
The AMD processors are much cheaper - more bang for the old buck. The drivers are quite bad, but for CF, you just need good value for money. However, if you can find an i5 with the below specs, just go for the i5 - much better choice
GPU: Get at least a 1GB dedicated VRAM. You'll run CF super smooth with it. Preferrable nVidia.
RAM : 4GB minimum. Remember, you can easily add more - RAM is the easiest thing to install on computers.
I don't have any 'links' but just buy the cheapest computer with the above specs. -

Price range: 0$-800$.
And it has to be a prebuilt computer. And Desktop computer not laptop.

Post your current specifications (PSU, Motherboard, CPU, RAM, GPU) -

Go to Dell's website, chat with a rep, asking for a good deal on a refurbished machine that's good for gaming. you should be able to get one for under 500, then go to newegg find a GPU on sale, buy it for 200, the remaining 100, maybe buy 16GB ram?
A good Dell is fast enough to get you 200 fps. Since you want pre-built you might not like to overclock anyway, so Dell or Gateway or Lenovo refurbished will be a good buy. Make sure you talk to the reps and ask for a good deal, tell them what you need, what your budge is.
You are welcome.
by the way, you will need to tweak your pc after buying it, I will give u more tips on how. -

If hes buying pre built, chances are he lacks the (severely little) knowledge to put in a gfx card.
What on earth do you need 16gn of RAM for? 8GB is fine for everything. -
Im not building a computer. And all I really want is to be able to play cf with smooth gameplay. and play other games as well with smooth gameplay.
I think ill just buy this computer instead. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229288R
I know its Cyberpower but as long as i get like 120fps on cf with it I'm happy.
Plus I have 1.5 GB of ram on this ****ty computer and i cant even be on more than 4 tabs for Google Chrome without it crashing..
Specs of this terribad computer :
AMD athlon(tm) 64 processor 3800+ 2.40GHz
Ram: 1.5 GB
Graphics card: Not even going to say.. terrible.
Just tell me if that cyberpower is going to get me 120fps. All I need from you guys..

.
Also hey why aren't you mod anymore? Or are you still?
You will be more than fine with that.
I'm planning to build a similar pc like that but ofc I will safe like 200 a 300 dollars :P
And I already got a 1TB HDD here so maybe Ill spend it on a SSD xD
But really the CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2100 is a fine build you will be able to play BF3 on medium settings with around 50 fps easily if not higher! from what I seen so far from weaker builds.
In crossfire you will easily hit the 200 fps -
you should probably think through your decision a little more thoroughly.
are you going to seriously drop $800 just to get you a computer that runs CF with 40-80 more FPS?
Indeed.
