some people have 1000-10.000 fps in counter strike

cf is capped at 200fps.

there is some fluctuation around this number, typically you are looking at max of about 250.

i didn't know it is capped. if so then getting the best pc isn't going to do much better than a good one.

1000 to 10,000 fps is insane, not playable for slow pc players.

It is. The FPS counter fluctuates but you'll never have a steady FPS above 200.

Enjoying your high fps? Run through some smoke or go to B site in Metro. Insta FPS flop.

It's capped at 200 though.

The highest I've seen for me is about 240 FPS, but I generally average at about 220 FPS. NattNatt is right though, it's capped around 200, so you shouldn't really see anything higher than 250.
