100,000,000 seems insanely high.
There are only about 50,000 active players playing CF right now so that means each one of us would need 2,000 kills in 4 days.
Lets do some simply math to figure out if we can get close.
Average Channel in Alpha has 40 rooms and half are usually TDM.
A 100 point capped room takes about 6 minutes to finish and ends with around 180 total kills.
10 channels total.
(10*(40/2))*180 = 36,000 kills every 6 minutes in alpha.
That will end up being around 8,640,000 kills a day. In 4 days that be just 34,560,000 kills, 1/3rd of the target goal from alpha alone. Might be possible with bravo and UK 1 staying active. -

yeah that does seem really high 100M
and people playing Hero Mode X, Hero Mode, Mutation Mode and Zombie Mode don't even count... -

It's an event with the new patch. If all of crossfire gets over 100 Million kills from the 17th to the 23th, then everyone who had more than 25 kills gets the ribbon. (HMX/HM/MM doesnt count towards any kills at all) -

There was a category in CFA for best frags and OMGItsaduck killed them with a sniper and pistols, so not just nade kills. But they will count too of course.
And I am sure that Nate kills and Nate-kills will count too

@BlindNate frags mean kills. It's not grenade kills, don't worry.
hmm then i'm wondering why 25 kills as event it's so cheap to do that.Why they didnt put specific like when you do mission on your ranking.likeFrags as been FPS slang for kills since the first Unreal games.
It just that CF contributes it more to grenade kills specifically.
first lt and capt must do 45 kills
Major-60 kills and etc.
25 kills i can do it in 1 match of 5 rounds. -

Seems easy.
All we need to do is at least 25 Kills, if every players make at least 25 kills, then we'll be reaching the 100 000 000 Killls goal. Everything is calculated.
Of course, that would require EVERY PLAYERS OF THE GAME to do that. But don't forget that there is people who will make much more kills & there is farmers.
First time they could be usefull for the game lol.

It will give a reason to people to play much more, an effective way to do it, I'm sure.
Plus, I don't think Z8 would put an unattainable goal for us, a committee probably studied the question and came up with a reasonable number. -

If they need us to make 25 kills, that means it is extremely possible because it's a very low amount of kills !
The fact is that people are impressed and scared of the Zeros in the "1 000 000 000" number.
This is not only a CrossFire's challenge, but it is a good mind challenge.

edit(oh the npc was lich king fully scripted when there was not instance with lich king but he was dealing 800-2k damage)
