Cant update and cant start the game. Help me pls

Hello everybody
Last night i have downloaded and installed Crossfire from the z8games website. Everything ist okay but everytime when i click "Start" to launch the games, it appears a update screen in 3 seconds, then the update screen closes automatically und nothing happens. I cant start the game. Help me pls

Same problem here, did a reinstall/download still the same thing.

Its not an antivirus that's doing this for me, but op if could be for you, try turning yours off when you run the game

Try deleting the xtrap folder inside the Crossfire folder, then re-open it.

C:/Program Files x86/Z8Games/Crossfire/xtrap

There is no xtrap folder by me

It's not that, something was conflicting with crossfire, for me it was either iobit (Probably) or virtual clone drive.

Try uninstalling programs you don't use, apparently stuff like game mods can interfere with crossfire.

Finally after I post that 30 times someone finally understands that that is what is causing the problem! Thank you p1mping!

That's really strange!

If that's actually the case, download this xtrap folder, and put it into your Crossfire folder.

man sorry for thi, but i just solve that proble in a very untechnical way...xD this is what i do. open the game after the download is coplete click START when the patcher shows up press cancel, very quickly, like a quickcope lol, the repeat all process... that works for me.
