Gamebooster recording program conflicting with xtrap
If you have the latest version of gamebooster you can find out it has build-in game recording.

When you start CF you get an xtrap error if you turn on the FPS option (which is required to record).

Now I know this won't be looked over because they are too busy "patching hacks" but it would be nice to see how it works with cf.

Gamebooster injects a DirectX file (d3d9.dll) file for the FPS overlay (renamed to fps.dll by gamebooster dev's).
If there's an option to disable it, try that.
The only overlay that works with CrossFire is Xfire because XTrap worked with Xfire to make a way around for them. -

There aren't many free in-game recorders. Believe me, I've looked (yes, fraps works, but creates very large files which take forever to upload, and includes a watermark).
