X-trap error.

Since I have sent a support ticket and none of the GMs have decided to help me I have decided to make this thread.

So I have been getting this error every single time I try to open Crossfire and this has been going on for 3 days now and still no hope to get it fixed. This is the error I have been getting:

I have seen a few threads about this error in this forum before which still remains unfixed.
[GM]Saidin said that he would investigate about this error but I guess he has lost interest on it now. I am sure there are a lot of people still having to face this problem but haven't just posted a thread here. So, I have decided to do it and I want it solved because with this problem there is no way in the game! It's been 3 days, I have been kicked from my clan, I don't know what I am going to lose next.

Did you try this?
Turn off your anti-virus or anything that can interfere with the program like a firewall.
Did you try the selfpatcher in game folder? Delete the Xtrap folder restart the game it will download one for you. If all fails, have a friend upload there xtrap folder.

I have copied and uploaded my XTrap folder for you guys here. Extract the folder to your Desktop, then move it to the Crossfire folder, and replace your old XTrap folder.

If this doesn't help at all, please reply and I'll look for another solution.

And that's what I provided. I uploaded my xtrap folder (which contains the xtrap files) for download. If he downloads it, and replaces mine with his, perhaps it'll work. I have a feeling this isn't the problem though.

Nope nothing happened. Still the same except the error code which is now changed to:

10-0300-00002EFD-146

Would you be willing to take a screenshot of your Task Manager > Processes list for me?

Since the error says that xtrap wasn't able to update properly, I believe it doesn't have Internet access. Please turn off any unnecessary programs, and anti-viruses. Once you've done that, delete your xtrap folder from the Crossfire folder, and reload Crossfire.

The access to x-trap patch server is unstable or X-trap update wasnt able to run properly. Please, restart the game

Once again, Anti-virus and firewall are blocking Xtrap.

And again, I have tried disabling antivirus/firewall. Tried reinstalling. Tried rebooting the PC. Got XTrap folder of at least 10 people. Sent a support ticket but all they said was post a thread here in this section, then they closed my ticket which obviously means they have no intention in solving this problem anymore. I have wasted enough money already on this account and I am not losing it. Z8Games should be more helpful and organized when it comes to technical problems because without getting past this error there is NO WAY IN the game. This is carelessness.

Start Button -> type in search bar "Services" -> Find Norton and LightScribe -> right click -> Properties -> change setting to "Disabled" -> Redownload Mirror -> Reinstall -> Start Game.

vprot.exe - AVG Anti-Virus
ssdmonitor.exe - PC Tools Spyware Doctor
like I said in the start, Cut all firewalls and antivirus off. Dont you guys even know what you have on your computer. You have been saying I cut it all off. Well there it is running in Processes.
ScreenSnaprApp = avant internet browser upgrade for windows internet explorer. You may want to remove this!!

Try this: End Processes nobuclient.exe, vprot.exe, screensnapr.exe, ssdmoniter.exe

Nope, nothing works. I have tried everything that you guys explained above. Thank you guys so much for still trying to fix this for me, I really appreciate it.

Windows 7- Click Start-Right click My Comuter-Manage-Services and Application
Services. Find AVG Right click Properties. Start up type- pull down arrow
Disable-apply Try the game.

X-trap error.
