Manual Vs Autodetect Problem?
Oke so the manual bans are done by humans and those are always perm if the user is hacking.
The xtrap bans are mostly a couple of days (3/7/30 days or so)
So if a user gets banned by xtrap for a week and than a human of the report system has received a report of that xtrap banned users he doesn't ban him because he already is listed as banned.
But the xtrap banned user only has a week ban while he should get a perm ban.
Don't know if this happened with a report of mine but It looks like it so just wondering if these kind of errors happen?

If they are caught by Xtrap then they are just given the temp ban as a sort of warning and if the person is reported manually it is just ignored I think. They probably have some sort of filter on the reports that just deletes reports of a person that has been auto banned is my guess. Would help them ban the VIP hackers that xtrap does not pick up.
You will have to wait for an official response but thats my best guess as to what goes on. -

They should really explain the report system to us, so we can understand without having to make educated guesses. But I do believe the auto-bans are more of a warning, whereas the manual bans are permanent. -

Don't worry a GM will respond(I hope),the week just started. -

Official answer to a question I asked Saidin myself.
So oke it happens.
But imo, the shouldn't ignore a manual report at all.
So if a user is banned by xtrap the should unban that user and than ban perm manual for my part.
Some people hack once to try it the join a room and use the most obvious hacks and the think nobody is noticing.
But ofc everybody notices the get reported and later that day the get caught by xtrap the are banned for a week and than the reports are just discard because the user is already banned by xtrap
He may than never try to hack again but he did try it and people reported it.
So that is kind of ridiculous to ignore the reports, the should do something about this.
Even if the user only hacked for 30 seconds hacking is hacking and the should get a perm ban.
So ya the need to adjust the filtering or how the handle xtrap banned users imo. -

Autobans issue a ban after logged into crossfire, it only takes 3-4 strikes from this system to issue a permanent ban. I do agree they should make it less strikes for a permanent ban but the problem is many accounts are stolen and then are abused by the autoban system (so that the user loses their account) -

The can just let it be as how it is now.
The only need to change how the handle manual reports when a user is already banned by xtrap.
Also the whole person account getting stolen etc is 99% the users fault and has kind of nothing to do with the topic.... -
It should kind of depend on the account content, high rank or not, many weapons or not. Most likely if a person gets banned by xtrap they will definitely learn their lesson unless they just don't care aymore.. It should be perm ban after 2-3 autodetections.

Well my view on this is that it should be 1 temporary ban as a warning and if caught again perm. There should not be 3 or 4 chances for them to hack again but thats just my opinion

Totally agree, i think the system is too lenient as it is and should be 1 warning then perm ban.
