My suggestion or removing a server and replacing it.
I am pretty sure that even in 2009, Australians and New Zealanders have been asking Z8Games-CrossFire Managers for an Australian server. Of course, the Game Managers didn't do it due to Legal Rights. My mates and I always say something like this during a clan war or pub:
[]DUDE WTF, HOW ARE WE GONNA PLAY AGAINST PLAYERS WITH PINGS OF 20 IN THIS CLAN WAR
[]wow i shot that guy in the face like 3 times already and instead i die?
[]our pings are 170 omg omg
[]how we gonna play against low pingers if we have 240 ping??????
[]THAT GUY KEEPS TANKING OMG
and there are many more...
We've kept on asking about making an Australian Server, but of course they failed, but now I want to ask this.
1st: Why are there 5 UK servers
2nd: There is a scroll on the server list, but you cant scroll down to see other servers, so why is it there?
3rd: Why not remove at least 1 of the UK servers?
I can't really answer Questions 1 & 2, but I do think what to do IF one of the UK servers do get removed.
Just replace it with an OCEANIA Server. I have recently found out that the Oceania area also includes Hawaii, which is part of North America. Just like the US West server (located in the West of the United States), why not just make a server in Hawaii so the Oceania server can be located in Hawaii?
What will happen if this does happen:

[]We will be happy

1st - Because there are 5.
2nd - Because there are going to be more than the list can display someday.
3rd - If it gets removed, then what? - Its gone. - Nothing more. - The only thing that changes, that the server Costs are lower. -

5 UK servers, and about 2 of them no one really uses... -

Same applies to Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot...6 Canadian servers.
People use Alpha, Bravo and occasionally Charlie when the other two fill up.
People use Delta for farming and to talk Portuguese.
People use Echo to talk English while being constantly disrupted by random foreigners.
People use Foxtrot for locked games. -

I do not mind those servers, since they have a purpose to be there.uk1 - players with no game sense at all
uk2 - same thing
uk3 - not an active server, only channel 8 which contains scrims
uk4 - has great players
uk5 - farm server<3
Basically, the UK 3 and UK 5 are used for stupid purpose -

Not gunna happen though. Highly doubt Z8 are ever going to get an Oceania license and without it they can't make a server there. The license for the game was NA/UK so it's more than just to have multiple servers in those locations.
Anyway.
1: Because they bought 5, it's better to have space than to be restricted/over capacitated.
2: Other versions have more servers, the devs just did not remove the scroll from our version in case we got more servers.
3: No point currently, they're probably on a X month contract and won't be removed until that ends. -
#1. They dont have license to put server in Australia area.
#2. Not enough players are from that area so it probably wouldn't pay off for them
#3. As rory said, servers are being rented trough contracts for longer periods because it is cheaper that way.
