2010... Heading to the best Internet cafe/Lan where I live to play Counter strike with 10 guys and found my friend playing crossfire... Hated it at first thinking it's an exact copy of Counter strike. Played ghost mode, changed my mind.

When I showed cf to my friends, they just laughed at me and thought that it was just a fake counter. They said that playing cf was far easier than playing cs.
I think it's just a shame that Ghost mode isn't more advertised and more developed (yes I play cf just for GM too)...because it is an original mode. The others are just mere copies of better games. So why would players playing COD, CS, L4D...switch over to CF?
They also predicted the end of the game in a few years from now... -
In 2009 , One of my friends came over. He asked me if he ''could download/install a game'' On my Laptop. I said ''No'' I went to go and take a shower , by the time i came out he was playing crossfire.. -.- i freaked. i saw him play and he was terrible n i said move let me try. He had a mouse with him so i liked it. But i do not have a mouse soo i played Crossfire for 1 year without a mouse -.-. But ever since then i played cf.

3 years ago me and my Aussie buddy were looking for a new game to play, but I didn't like "FPS" games, I liked MMO's. We had come from Perfect World and Two Moons, and he wanted to play a shooter. We tried several including F.E.A.R but I didn't like any of them, and eventually he found this one. Turns out he didn't like this one because of the Aussie ping problem, but I liked Ghost mode so I stuck around. Then I started making friends and got hooked.

I found the game in early 2009 on subagames when I played some MMORPGs on their site... I was getting annoyed with Combat Arms due to the steady increase in lag and glitching...
Downloaded the game (Which back then on my crappy computer took about 10 hours), then started playing when I woke up the next morning...
Played Egypt TDM at first and noticed I really liked the steady stream of rooms that were available... It took me about three weeks to start playing other modes, but began loving them instantly...
Started becoming a really good GM player, before we discovered bhopping... Took me about months to get bhopping down when we first figured out it was a good way to get kills...
My first gun buy was an AK-47 (Which I sold and don't know why)... -
I found out about the game while playing Combat Arms. I was looking for more free-to-play shooters to play. I was playing a Quarantine Regen game (Like Mutation mode) and everyone in the room were talking about different shooters and Crossfire came up in the conversation. So I downloaded Crossfire and many other games. I remember not liking Crossfire very much. The first map I played was Monaco. I liked the environment of the game. It was so underground and felt underrated... then I got so tired of it. So I gave up. I came back to the game later to try hacking because my main game for awhile was Combat Arms. I later realized that Combat Arms was getting worse with it's issues. After getting banned from Crossfire a few times, I decided to actually give Crossfire a chance without hacking. I liked it. I liked it more than Combat Arms. I like it a little more than Alliance of Valiant Arms and I definitely enjoy it more than Call of Duty 4. Sure, the maps weren't as epic as Combat Arm's earliest maps but the Search & Destroy maps were fun to play on.
About the cheating, I deeply regret it. It's not me at all and no matter what the game is, I should have never done it. Anyway, I love this game, despite the no reg, Brazilians, and the cheaters. I still enjoy the game, even when I get frustrated. It has more people online, even during the night. There's always something to do in this game. It's fun and very addicting. -
I found out about CF from HouseholdHacker. And I won't give specifics about the creation date of my account for security reasons, but I did start playing in 2010.
I remember seeing the video on their channel. Very negative review. He didn't like the game at all.
I would have given it more of a chance. -
When I started playing My favourite mode, GM, I stunk.
After many times of dying in every mode, I'm getting better
( and my weapons are terrible :P )
I was sure I was a pro in GM when I got kicked in nearly every match for being ace in the March Of The Ghosts II
