Every game I get cannot connect with host server

Why is this? This has never happened to me before. It started two days ago? I think it might be my router because even on my xbox 360 it was having trouble connecting to my router to play xbox live. Im not sure about this any suggestions?

  • Sounds stricktly internet connection issues to me man.
Do you run Hamachi or is your Xbox on connected to the same internet at the same time? If so go to Networking and Sharing Center and disable Hamachi and your Xbox connection and leave only your computer connection.
Try Resetting your router, you probably have already, just unplug the router, modem, then plug them back in.
Also please try plugging straight up to the modem without the router and tell me what happens.
It wouldn't hurt to restart your computer and startup with [Safe Mode With Networking] run CF and let me know what happens there.

Well I've solved a problem and still have a problem. So basically I tried a couple of things that you said and I still had the same issue..the safe mode wouldnt even let me start up cf though because it said outside programs were stopping it from running.
Well, the main problem i solved is that i figure out it is not my router. I tried running cf on my neighbors internet and I got the same problem. I think it is a problem with my comp..any suggestions man?

EDIT: I tried playing as me as host and WOW even on my host I still got the error! I have no clue what to do now..Cmon guys i know one of you computer efficient peoples has an answer
Its obviously not connection since i hosted the game..

You have a program or even a single file on your computer that is causing the game not to run. I have found 3 people now that all they had to do was delete their addon folder for World of Warcraft and the game started right up.

Please post a picture link of your Programs and Features page and I will tell you what you need to uninstall to solve the error message as I had that exact same message last week.
If you find your information to be sensitive then you may PM me the link instead.

Sincere appoligies; I had thought your post title said "cannot connect (to) host server"...
