crashing my pc !

Hey guys, was having a few problems with my pc so just formated my HD and re-installed windows , pc running fine now , so re-downloaded CF ( D/L from the site here not external ) installed all went ok untill i try load the game up, gets past xtrap load and as the main CF load page appears my pc switches off and restarts ! ... happens everytime, and only when loading CF , so anyone seen this before ? , will try un-installing game and try again but would appriciate any other ideas in case that doesn't help !

Did you run the CF client as administrator? I had the same problem when I re-formatted and I wasnt running as admin, so I tryed that and it worked. Hope this helps.

Yes i am administrator , but thx for your idea's , have since uninstalled and tried re-installing but exactly the same problem, maybe trying a new download, have never had any problems on this pc with CF before , so any other idea's will help

Very well, are you running the program as admin? Right click the client icon, then click "Run as Administrator"

I was admin on my machine as well, but it doesn't run as admin unless you specify to do so.

Try to do this
1)You should run the client as administrator
2)Install the latest DirectX
3)Install Net Framework 4
4)Then restart your pc and try to open it
If it is not work go here http://support.z8games.com/webform_new.aspx and make a webform

Try running it in compatability mode for Windows XP SP2.
