Steamrolled by armored players in CW
yeah it happend, more than a few times recently.
i mean, c'on, easy on the armor, guys.
the otherwise more interesting matches were simply gone lopsided with armored player(s) rushing at the front, killing everyone in their path.
i haven't used armor in CW, and don't plan on using it.

It's actually common. In the competitive world. Even when they're not technically scrimming, they still sometimes use official rule sets. If it's agreed upon on both sides. The fact you're laughing, means that you haven't played that much CW with official rule settings. But it does happen. Just have to get both sides to agree.Rules in a CW?

Clan wars give you a chance to practice as a team. On different players, also it provides fun and a chance to meet new people. Competitive players don't just sit there and play with only competitive players. They are part of the community and play the game just like everyone else. Also, practicing with the rule sets. Plus it gives the other team a chance to play on the same level as them. Same advantages and disadvantages. So then maybe they will practice more and become a competitive team. They might be good and take some pointers from the competitive players so they could become better.If you want to be competitive, why are you in clan server? -
The armour only protects towards a a few hp or more easily understood as one more bullet.
Geting steamrolled most likely has little to do with armour....
However the teribad registration in game is probably the major cause of your bullets nit registering...
ie; 2 days ago i slammed a player with 3 AWM shots clearly in the chest for ZERO damage. No armour. Next round 2 AWM shots in chest ( very close ) for only 23 damage.
Then there are clever 3rd party software users using a reduced damage formula... -
no, im no pro by any means, so i don't get headshot every and each time. the only rifle can headshot through helmet is AK and its variants, and I use them once I see a helmet.
in CW SD, in a close match, every round counts. a misssed headshot can mean losing a round. one round can determine the match.
am i complaining, yeah umad
good suggestion for setting up rules before a match

Armor is useless against the sheer force of my xm8 , it doesnt really Have that much of an effect unless its pistols or whatever , Its easy to take on a whole team of armored SL users
against fairly good players who wear armors, well before armor/helmets were offered for coupon exchange, most good players don't buy them, but now.. -

That is true. But then the word gets out that your clan is abiding by the rules you set. So then you'll probably get more people willing to face you that want rule sets. -

I rather they use scarlight or kriss. at least kriss is 4 shot kill. m12 they can run so much faster and route you from the back.

I actually find the KRISS hard to kill people when you face to face -
If people spend money on buying armour then they have the right to use it wherever whenever they want. You have the option to buy armour or not just as the other team does. Like someone else already said you can ask them to not use armour but they dont have to agree to it.

I tend to agree with this since armor isn't very effective anyway. The Kriss has a higher damage AND accuracy score then the m12s...not to mention it's actually a 4-5 shot kill with the m12s and the fire recoil on the m12s makes running pointless unless they're RIGHT in your face. And from range doesn't make it much of a problem.
Kriss > m12s. Plus, any weapon can **** your back...
And on that note : why do people pizz and moan about the m12s when the MP5 is HIGHLY comparable? -

The only reason I dont like the m12s is because of the sound, its horrible xD Other than that I dont really care about that gun more than the next lol. -
