Turtle Beach XP500
I recently got my new Turtle Beach XP500 for my PC and XBOX. It has 5.1/7.1 Surround Sound but I need some help setting up its presets to fit best for Ghost Mode in CF. Just reply if you actually know what you are talking about and not just random comments on the headsets.
Thanks

Can't really help you on this because I can not cough up that much dough for anything better than my old X11's.
What I can suggest is that you try the TurtleBeach Website and use the preset engine client that it provides for the XP500's. Registration takes about 4-6 minutes and it will give you a better idea on how you need your presets to be for better sound in different gametypes.

From what I do know about the presets and the setup of the presets I would suggest
Ear Guard: (goes from the top=100% -> bottom=0%, 100%=all game sound comes through, 0%=sound is almost unhearable.) I suggest a setting around 65% to 75% (depending on how loud you play the game) so that those gunshot sounds and constant callouts from grenades being thrown are slightly decreased so the sound doesn't overwelm your concentration.
(will include more, but super busy at the moment.) -
Last time I check it wasn't PC compatible.
It can be used for PC, XBOX and PS3. Check in depth, it was always compatible with these platforms. All headsets/headphones can be used on PC, I used to use my Beats by dre solo HDs on it
. Now I use the Razer Carcharias. I recommend Razer and Steel series for PC though. GM specially.
Yes, I have Beats [Detox, Pro and Solo] but they are good for music and not for gaming.WinBack466 wrote: »Can't really help you on this because I can not cough up that much dough for anything better than my old X11's.

I tried that before posting this but wasn't of much help. -

Well I got quiet a few people to help out from the looks of it, for now just mess around with the settings and I will take a look later, probably give my friend a call and I will test out his headset and tell you what settings and stuff I would suggest. I got some housework to do and stuff but I will get back to you.
