STEPS
*Click on the start menu button
*Right Click on where it say computer
*Click on Properties. A window open which is the SYSTEM window.
*Click on System Protection. A window open up which is the SYSTEM Properties
*Click on Advance
*On PERFORMANCES Click Settings
*A window pop open which is Performance Option
*Click on Adjust for best performances
NOTE: This will change your computer look like to old window (IT will NOT damage nothing in your files such as folder, system, etc...)
YES, you can change back but fully the step back again. Instead of clicking on Adjust for best performances. You will now click on where it say Let Window's choose what best for my computer -
"Because I'm getting less than 30 fps now..." Does that mean you've played Crossfire on a same PC and fps suddenly dropped? If so how much fps did you had before. Check if you installed some anti-virus as their active scan is quite processor requiring and old PCs may not handle it well (so turn it of before playing CF). This applies for all other needy programs that you don't need running while play CF.
Also like guy's above said, scan your system you may have caught something and tell us your PC configuration (<<that will help you get answers much faster). -

Well my old computer broke... my good one... so now I'm reduced to playing with my laptop. My specs are :
OS: Win 7 Home Premium 32 Bit SP1
Processor: Pentium Dual Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00 Ghz
RAM: 4 GB RAM
GPU: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Wired Mouse (Don't really know what it is) -

I use to use pentium (non dual core) and get 40 fps with your processor you should at least be getting 50-70 range. -

You have more then enough RAM and your CPU is ok but your GPU worries me as what you have can't even be called a graphic card but rather graphic chip (It's one of those Intels integrated GPUs which are not even close to be suitable for gaming). Try checking you resolution as with each higher resolution strain on GPU almost doubles, though if by "all on low" you meant that your current resolution is 800x600 then you can't really do much improve your FPS. Try downloading newest drivers for GPU, you might maybe, just maybe get a slight FPS improvement.
Even though IMO your GPU is main problem still I'll repeat myself, double check all programs running in the background for their PC usage (close unnecessary ones) and TURN OFF anti-virus active scanner if its on.
Overall note that laptops are really a BAD choice for playing games as desk computer hardware counterparts are way faster. Laptops CPUs and GPUs are downclocked as they can't cool them self properly and laptops weak battery couldn't handle high energy usage.
My advice, if its financially possible get yourself a new PC, there really isn't much you can do to make it faster. -
GPU has little to no effect on this game. DUDE. I know. Like seriously my GPU is poop. Lol.
I got MW2 and its put on the lowest graphics with the best fps config and I ONLY get 10 fps...
And idk... I should be getting more than 30 for CF but I'm still getting under 30...
So I'm guessing there's no config? lol
And I make sure nothing else is running in the background when I play.
I'm not stupid... I'm doing my best with what I've got, but its not enough. -

I'm running Crossfire on Sempron 3200+, 1GB ram and old Radeon x1650 and still I'm getting 70-90 fps, all high, resolution 1024x768 (and that Sempron actually works on 1.8 GHz and its single core, its was bad in 2006 when it came out so its super bad now). So even if its laptops CPU its still a dual core Pentium, aren't Intels processors know to be like 30,40 % faster then AMDs counterparts? (like I dunno comparing Intel i7 quad core with AMD Phenom II Quad core), also not sure but I don't think Crossfire supports multi-cores.
Ik that Crossfire is not so much GPU dependent but still... Well I don't know, after all it was just my conclusion since comparing how much my CPU sucks I didn't even want to considered his CPU was a problem but if his 2 GHz dual core Pentium is weaker then mine 1.8 GHz old Sempron (and Sempron is weakest AMD series, kinda like Intels Celerons) than I can't help but to feel sorry for laptop gamers -.-. -

My entire current PC sucks, I bought a new one (like a year ago or so) but it lasted only 3 months. Thunderstorm + telephone cable being close enough to lightning + that telephone cable being close enough to my house = cable leading electricity to my modem, from my modem into my PC = Coffee with your toasted motherboard ?
And then people ask me :" why unplug your internet cable during thunderstorm? -.-".
Well at least HDDs and GPU survived (that smexy Radeon 6870 ;P). -

FPS config is a rewritten file that changes your game settings so that it is on the lowest.

Not really, just change the settings ingame to low everything.
Also, increase page file 4095 on min and max
Change pc theme to performance than cpu performance to programs and not services
same with memory use. (for those stuff go: my computer > right click options > Advanced > Performance > Look out for the settings)
Uh defrag your HDD disable any unneeded programs in the background when playing cf.
Also set GPU to performance and not quality.
so ya.....squeezing a couple more FPS ^ that way is the only one so far for you. -
i have a config for u. its called a better pc
Its not only the pc, it might be a malware in his computer... Normaly I have 200-240 FPS, and 2 weeks ago, my FPS dropped to 80-90.. So, with MalwareBite, I find in my computer a malware.. I clean it and now im back to my normal FPS.. So his problem can be a malware, not his PC!
