Is ScarL still considered noob?
I remember, maybe around 6months to 1 year ago, this gun was probably the most complained gun in the game. During then till now, the gun has been nerfed and now there is a higher rank requirement. My question to you, is this gun still considered an unbalanced weapon?

I'm unsure if there was a new rank requirement put up in the past year, but I know the weapon was never nerfed statistically.
It's still one of the top 3 weapons in the game, along with the M14EBR and M12s. -
I swear I remember that it was nerfed damage wise? Is this untrue? At least I noticed a difference in the amount of people using it and the amount of people complaining about it.GodsGunman wrote: »I'm unsure if there was a new rank requirement put up in the past year, but I know the weapon was never nerfed statistically.

It was never nerfed in damage. No weapon has been nerfed in any way aside from rank in more than 2 years, except the m12s and that was about 2 years ago when it was also made to have a higher rank requirement.
Saidin told me himself.
No weapon gets nerfed unless they tell us about it in the patch notes is what he told me. -
The gun itself is overpowered.I just think that a player who's already sfc(rank requirement for sl) shouldn't be using guns like that. This is what makes the player a noob.I've no problem seeing a sergeant using it,since he most likely just started playing and can't use any other gun.But seeing a captain with a sl?Lmao.
Use w/e u like,but if u're a high rank I don't recommend using it. -
Just because he said that doesn't means it's true. M4-C was nerfed without notice. S-Light was nerfed too. 3 years ago it used to have roughly S-Heavy's power.GodsGunman wrote: »It was never nerfed in damage. On Topic: I would say that SL is one of the easiest weapons to use. There's practically no limits to your shooting recoil/accuracy wise. All of that combined with a decent reload, damage and weight ... Well, it's just way more performant that most GP AND ZP guns.
While theoretically it shalln't be QQ'd at because every single noob can get one, it does kills the randomness of the guns in the game. Instead of exploring new avenues with guns they rarely see, rookies will pick up S-Lights. -

Notice how I said 2+ years ago. They didn't announce when things changed before then. -
All guns in this game can be used by any player of the appropriate rank.
Why are they called NOOB guns? Some people prefer to play with WCG guns.
Example: Echo 8, But in most pubs use the gun you like. QQers will cry no matter what gun you kill them with. I understand kicking some one for using an M60 or other MGs in ghost mode because good GM hunters use sound to hunt. But calling any gun NOOB in a pub game is pointless. If you think a gun is over powered then buy it, use it and stop with the QQ please.
By the way, ever notice how the same guy calling your gun NOOB, picks it up as soon as you die, LOL
I have the scar light red dragon, I never use it for this reason. I get kicked not because it's a NOOB gun, but because others are jealous they don't own one. -
It's so weird how suppressed ZP m4a1's have full wall-bang.Only M4A1-Patriot and Royal Dragon does. M4-Silver/Custom/Crystal Custom/Crystal Silenced/Liberty/Adv don't have those.
M4 Spring has full wallbang as well. -
S Light always was and most likely will remain one of the most op guns in the game. Using it doesn't entitles you n00b, its just another gun in a game use it if you will, don't be surprised on vote kicks though (not to mention you can't get even close to competitive games with it).

When I had a hard time killing people, I would often use the Scar Light (this was about a year, or two ago). The reason for this is because the general statistics of this gun are amazing, and should definitely help you when it comes to a close up, or far away battle. The only thing about Scar Light is that it's too easy. Yes, too easy. The more you use it, the less experienced you'll become. If you don't ever plan on becoming a very good player, then go ahead and use it, as it will get you a good amount of kills. However, if you want to work towards becoming a better player, and would like people to react better to your kills, then ignore the gun as much as possible. Using a weapon such as M16, M4A1, AK47, or G36K will improve YOUR statistics greatly, as none of these weapons are overpowered, but contain general statistics.
Though you may find that people will call you a noob while using a gun, it's not that you're a noob, it's just that they can't stand dying! -
Well I bought the SL last week, first game in Egypt TD, 80-10... when I eventually switched back to my AK (main gun) later in the day, I couldn't hit jack **** from more than 5 meters away. I also noticed fewer people complaining about the gun, but it's still going to sit in my storage for a long time before I decide to use it again.
