You do realize that bans don't last forever. I'm pretty sure its 1st offence: 1 week ban 2nd: 1 or 3 months 3rd: perm ban and 4th: is IP ban.

Yes they are.
if the System catches you cheating, its 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, permaban.

If the person was caught by the auto-detect and temp banned it's possible the report was during the duration of that temp ban... and doesn't lead to a perm ban.

Yea it sucks, but gotta live with it.

That was X-Trap's doing.

Most of the hack-blocking credit goes to X-Trap, the support team tries to get those that have slipped through X-Trap.

If you provide valid evidence in the report, such as a replay, you will get much better results, as the staff cannot always 'take your word'. As NattNatt said, he may not have even been hacking, maybe you just weren't doing very well at the time.

If you're sure he's hacking, re-send a report with a deep description of the player such as:
- username
- hacks used
- date, time
- map
- mode

Hopefully you'll get the player caught if they are truely hacking!
