I just notice

People sometimes ask me what is my FPS. I just recognize it under my tab window. It is often 23.5. Can anyone tell me what is FPS mean? When is it good (high or low)? What is the standard FPS which we should have?
FPS is just one of the indicators of how good your game is running on your computer.
The higher the better. 200+ is the ideal.
Anything under 60fps results in choppiness. Fps varies from second to second, depending on the pc performance.
The standard FPS is 150 for me. -

Get a new desktop instead.
Pretty much. No point getting a new laptop or upgrading your old one because it isn't going to get very far. Get a new desktop with decent RAM (4-8GB should be fine) instead of a new laptop. -
People say that 30 FPS is tolerable, not much frame lag.
I personally believe anywhere from 40-60 is very reasonable, and should help you produce some nice kills. If you have between this, you don't have to worry about upgrading your computer (my laptop only gets about 50-70FPS) because you should be seeing crystal clear. My desktop computer that I use for Crossfire runs at 220 FPS, so obviously everything is absolutely clear, but 220 FPS is very similar compared to like 70 FPS. You wont notice much difference as you go beyond 80 FPS. -

Darn, my Ram is only 2GB and only 1.87 GB is usable. I have no idea how to upgrade it. I also don't know how to install a new desktop(it will probably crash)
