Remove the kick voting!
proudly presenting: yet another whiny thread about the vote system being abused to kick all those who got a decent level of skill in the game
just played about 12 rounds this morning, at least thats how many games i've joined, finished three of them, got kicked nine times... well, no wonder, i got ace, got some nice multikills, was up against a bunch of "OMG SPRAY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD"-guys who then said i was hack cause i aimed before pulling the trigger
besides, it has been months since i saw the last hacker in any game, and, honestly, i think hackers ruin way less games than those whining... noobs (sry for that, but such childish behaviour does not deserve any other name) do
it is impossible to explain anyone that you heard his footsteps, that you did not die from his awm cause he did not hit you (most times due to high ping, never can get below 140), that aiming does not require an aimbot, (add random issues here which occur every second game you get a good score)
to sum up what i just typed above: i think gaming experience would increase if you were not kicked every few rounds for getting ace, or, even worse, your ping

I think this is a little off topic, should probably be in the Crossfire suggestion but what ever. I do understand your feelings mate, playing GM with a score of 34 and 1 usually brings out the "Snafu is hacking", "HE *** KICK HIM PLZ". Like you I havent seen a confirmed cheater in months but still Id much rather have a kick system in place rather then not.

the kick voting system is useless against hackers, last three times my team (we had the hacker on our side) refused to kick the hacker, simple reason "we win with him", thats the main reason i claim it to be useless in case a real hacker joins a game -

Who the hell refused to kick the hacker? The players...
Who cries and moans that X person is a hacker because he was killed by him? The players
And who agrees to kick a player? The other players...
In other words the problem are the players, not the vote kick system.. -
The vote kick system needs to be regulated. If the vote kick is denied, it should be 1 minute until the next vote kick on the same person. Not only that, its not fair for a private to initiate a vote kick.
I want to see GM involvement rather than this vote kick system. It is killing Cross Fire because you have some amazing days and then some bad ones. I was accused of hacking and I was 10-6. That's ridiculous considering my stats are horrible and I am really not that good. I just play for the fun of it. To allow the abuse that most clan members start off doing with each other is off the wall. Oh you kicked me on this server I'm gonna accuse you and some noobs on your team of hacking too.....
We gotta put out a message that the hacks have been disabled. The only hack that still works is the speed hack. And it doesn't improve speed for really any use other than to outrun everyone else at the beginning of the level until you make contact with another team and die. -
no point, i see actual hack3rs get denied and people that r good get kicked, its lame. people will be spinning in circles killing groups of people and the vote fails, people will be knifing from their spawn point and killing you in your spawn point and the kick fails. you go positive in a game and you get kicked cuz u dont suck at CF......ineffective, either change it or remove it.I think this is a little off topic, should probably be in the Crossfire suggestion but what ever. 100% agreed that way no hackers can get kicked AWESOME IDEA now every 1 can loose they're score while your at it how about we remove GM's and mods to so trhen they cantr get banend or kicked GJ General stupidity -

You didn't saw any confirmed hacker since months??????? OMG
I saw 10/15 in last week. Speed hack or/and killing everyone from spawn to spawn with a damn knife. LOL
Now with the last patch we have that annying message about crates, with so many donations they can't avoid 90% of hacking tools. -
I saw only one confirmed hacker for two months now. Than again, he did not got kicked. And I saw some "aimbot hackers", tho I'm really not sure they really are. I'm far from CF's best, so there for sure is much more great players than me. Tho, I was kicked several times. I had scores like 27K/3D on Monaco, and I wasn't even surprised when I found myself in the lobby. The problem is the players, abusing that system. But even tho I got kicked, I still prefer to have a kick system up and working, than not have one at all. People understand this rather well, but if players are going to abuse a function continuously, then such a function must be either highly moderated (which is, in this instance, not possible) or, must be removed. This is another small indication that people cannot be trusted to rule themselves. Kids kick people who own them fairly and then they refuse to kick genuine hackers who help them win. Ergo, the majority of users cannot spot a real hacker from a pro at this point, rendering the kick function utterly useless to everyone except those desperate for ACE, who feel satisfied "earning" it via kicking whoever currently has it.
Remove the kick function and put up with the occassional hacker here and there... I'm fine with that... it's better than kicking pro's just cause they're super good at the bloody game. -

I still don't see why you guys just don't allow the host as administrator. With that, sure there's going to be a bunch of kids who can't properly make decisions. Someone has to stand on top of the power point and point it out. Hackers? They don't exist.
Never existed, incorrect term. A Hacker in definition is someone who works with open source projects, and operating systems. Or someone who cuts trees.
"Hacks" or "hackers" now days are just script kiddies. When a real one shows up in a game. You know it's game over.
Yes, someone will find an exploit around it, but I'm pretty sure that there is ways to check Crossfire's memory in runtime, Gameguard is only a wall. It prevents programs from easily hijacking into the system. Often detecting malicious attempts etc.
One thing in particular, GameGuard can be classified as a virus, most anti-virus consider it one, why? It's a rootkit. If it doesn't get properly shutdown, your screwed. It'll just stay hidden. While not harmful GameGuard was intended to be an Anti-Cheat.
As for the head shot bit, Come on.. 3 head shots in a row by luck, thats ok. But I see people who shoot constant head shots in one shot, off and on. While it's not generally perfect. They are too good. Maybe it's just me, but I know I don't suck THAT bad. I may still have my M16 and haven't decided on a gun. But turning a corner and dying the moment you see your enemy? Yeah.. instant-death. It's silly. -
Not removed but changed i also hate it today i was playing for about 2 hours and i didnt finish even 2 matches i cant get threw 1 match without being called hacker hacker you cant kill me im Prooooooo
today i got 10 1 after 3 matches and the people there where good and i was using m16(new account) and i got kicked right away i wanted to save that replay and in that rate i would have gotten ace(already got to 2nd place) people just Cant aim all you do is put your mouse at there head and you click the mouse not such a big deal
i got kicked out of a knife match i got 80 13 the guys in there didnt know what to do really lol
and i got kicked after 2 matches of 2 on 2 beacuse after 2 matches i got 4-0
its innoying this is one of the games where people call hacker hacker too much they need to learn that there ARE good people without hacks i hope there will be a change to the kicking system but not removed

There is a game by Electronic Arts -For free- that has no kick function. People there whine every match-yes every- when they cant hold the flag because invisible snipers (legit thing) take it using the abilities the game has. They want to kick people that are a higher level, more skilled, with the powerful rifle, with better abilities. The people there do NOT want to control "hacks". They honestly feel that if those that hack choose to play that it ok to get them for themselves. They want to control the games and kick everyone thats better.
That being said this is Cross Fire -we have a kick function- its used/abused and its like every other privelage(sp) out there. Driving, for example- some are horrible drivers some aren't. It could be so much worse, for all its failures, it comes down to people being able to decide. Wisdom determines how the tool is used. -
For those who don't see guys with "aimbots, chams or whatever" see this replay. http://www.l2battlezone.com/soulburst/gatoradevol2.cfr and take a look at "gatoradevol2" player and you will see. That guy have "aimbot" for sure and he allways take my target before see me. After this one i saw more 3/4 till now with same **** or killing all oponents with a knife. Anyway just take a look.

IDK..... They Keep Kicking Me 2...i dont have anything aginst the vote kick,But i got something aginst the community! If i guys say you that i play CrossFire about 8 - 9 months idk would you belive me!I'm Probablly The 1 of Longest playing CrossFire Players....
But i got an Idea...When i played CombatArms i noticed The ,,Rank¨ Elite
i didn't get it what it means But i think That CrossFire should make some titles for
Pros 2,so Player can See defrince between Hacker And a Pro Player!
Make a IGN Name Card Where it shows Pro,Elite and Etc....So After Playing with gm,
he could Pridely Call you Pro and Send you a Name Card!
