Time for change!!!
I think Z8 needs to consider changing hac,k protection providers.
This is not a complaint about the in game reality,
Yes everyone is aware and tired of the situation.
What I am wondering from the community is,
#1 Have you played other on line games with hac,k prevention?
#2 If so what was the company and how do you think they compare to X-Trap?
#3 Is there a way to express our concerns to X-Trap that may make them understand our frustration.
I understand that Z8Games and X-Trap are not the same company. And that the MODs/GMs only have control over hac.k reports and Banning IGN,
However I do believe that there remains as in all companies, a responsibility to the clients.
Cross fire claims to be a free to play game. But like many other games the cash for in game items, guns, armor so forth and so on leads me to think there is an understanding in good faith that my investment of time and money will be protected within a reasonable margin, by the company profiting from my investment.
So, is the level of protection we as the clients get, enough?
Please be respectful if considering responding to this post.
I would like to hear about your personal experience with anti cheats.
I would like any well thought out solutions or suggestions.
To the staff and/or directors of Z8games and cross fire. Is it possible to consider other anti cheats and/or companies to protect our game and the investments we the clients have made in cross fire?

Maybe if you used common sense and knew that in order to finish daily missions you need Laboratory GM Wins, then you might know why they all hugging the GM lab rooms. -
Even though I love crossfire, the hacking has made ghost mode unplayable. Today I could basically find 1 hacker every 3-4 rooms, unless it was GM, where there was at least 1 in every room.
I remember when I was playing combat arms that there were less hackers, but I find the gameplay less appealing. I think Nexon has stricter hack policies, but I know that would make no difference here since the hackers can simply make a new account. We have yet to hear of a more efficient way to reduce hackers. -

~didn't read, guessing it's a rant about how we need a new anti cheat etc~
support isn't all that good, but to be honest, x trap is pretty good. The problem with xtrap is the bans though. Usually it only bans you for the 0 minute 0 second, which is completely useless.
On the positive side, it does discourage hackers. For example; zyan-dev. My friend () used zyan-dev, and xtrap would detect almost all the features and give a client error. There's no point cheating if you can't even use the cheats without getting a client error!
tl;dr support system is bad, x-trap DOES detect hacks but needs to ban for a longer duration of time. -
Xtrap is a good anti hack program. But there are others out there that would give it a run for it's money such as(xigncode 3,vac(owned by valve),punk buster(but not that good anymore look at the battlefiled games
)other then that none.Hackshield is what combat arms has but if you go play combat arms you will see that game is hacked very bad and to be honset that game is going down hill quick most veteran fps players know that already.Xtrap is fine just needs weekely updates to keep them hacks at bay

Honestly. I play about an Hour a day. I have noticed over the past few months, Hakers getting caught by X-Trap. I would get killed by a boter or waller, then the person would be knocked out of the game. THIS was almost never done before! I am happy to see the changes. I would love to see daily updates to xtrap. With the money Z8 has been earning Via the black market, I would love to see them throw a little more at Xtrap and get it. If it comes down to weekly updates, I am not one to complain. They have done a pretty good job lately.
On a separate note: Ghost Most is filled with the one not getting caught. Mostly the Chammers, Crouch Speeders, Knife Speeders, One Shot knife kills, No Breath sound and Instant defuse. -
... people who are saying hacks are ruining GM.... I've barely seen any hacks in gm over the last week.... I think you are mistaking skilled players for hackers. I've seen 4 or 5 wallers over the span of a week... Thats next to none.
The only thing thats bothering me is that now there is a ribbon for playing GM there are too many damn sprayers lol  -
Z8 Has no right to change anything... The Developers have to
Agree'd.
And plus, as people talked about Ghost Mode, I think BL can easily win if they know there's a hacker and just rush. I personally has done that plenty of time and got many kills, won many games AND finished my daily missions. Even though they have hacks, we LEGIT can also win by out-doing there unreal skills. I get average k/d in BL GM; 24-4. Not bad. -
Lately the hacking situation has been good, there is not alot of which I have seen (I play in the UK 4) there is hardly any hackers, but in every game you will see hackers. X Trap is a good anti-hacking measures.
To be honest X Trap isn't the worse Anti-hacking program. -
I Agree that more updates from X-Trap would be a good idea. I have noticed the situation getting better at least with the Auto detection.
Yes I know that ghost mode has been under attack, It was the same with Zombie mode when it first came out.
All in all, there seems to be growing support for X-Trap
I think a longer ban for offenders would help.
Some people ask about a ban list. Z8 has used the honnor ribbon in the same way.
If Clan leaders don't look at a profile to see if the stats match a players skill then what good would a list be that they would not check ?
Update time please!!!
They're back in a big way. Let's try to report as many as we can. Make sure the ones you report are obvious. Don't fill reports up because a better gamer owned you. -

There was no real need to necro this thread... Yes hackers have ups and downs. Xtrap have to go through the coding of each individual hack to be able to block it so sometimes it may take longer than other depending on how complex it is. Just be patient. -
Well, to be honest, I haven't seen many hackers at all. I feel the situation as it is now is fine. We will never fully rid ourselves of hackers, but we can do our best to try. Maybe small updates by X-Trap if that is possible. I wouldn't know, I'm not too much of a techy. But like I said before, I'm fine how it is now. Improvement would be good, but I like the position we are in. Minority of hackers.

Not needed.
XTrap has done the best job any company has done since CFNA's beggining. Don't cry about the hacks (it's always exagerated these days) and be patient for patches. XTrap is doing their job and doing it well.
This isn't a necro or anything... -.-
