Alot of people are having a problem with this also, I hope the fix it. In the meantime I guess you'll just have to wait.

a day or two if you're lucky. I haven't had much luck getting the patched version to work either. I'm getting the CF file watcher error at 1% and I have no idea why. I'm a somewhat computer savvy person and I can solve most windows/linux/osX errors so I have a tendency to think that its not my computer but I haven't yet ruled that out.

The 1028 version is out to dl from site but even when i dl that it still has same error

I'm not sure what the issue is then. I'll have to run my PC through the gauntlet with the lastest setup exe file and go from there. if i find anything usefull i'll post back.

I bet u guys using Window Vista, cause when im playing on my uncle's computer using XP, its gone through, no problem at all!

No, it does not work. I will be waiting until after the secondary patch before I attempt additional trouble shooting steps.

i have vista same problem the server are not done with the update yet thats why the error.

Well,after the minipatch 9/25/09 nothing happend still same problem (file was changed or forged. game will be shut down by force) +other problem says : (Run-time'5':Invalid procedure call or argument)
i think game wont work again i Formated the laptop still the same.......

Installed program from v1028 setup exe, downloaded patch - everything works. Server is a bit laggy but its to be expected for the next day or so.

I'm starting to think the answer is out there somewhere since this thread hasn't been touched by any GM/Admin/Mod/etc. or that it will be solved soon, since they seem to be pretty responsive normally.

I have the same problem, XP, I've done a clean reinstall, normal reboot. And it was working fine until 1027 and somehow I get the 1028 and it patches still, idk what to, but it's patching to something...
