G36k...?
Why does no one use this gun!? D=
I've been playing with a lot of the rarely-used guns in my storage lately, and I decided to dust off my G36K yesterday. Being my first 'real' gun in CF, I have a bit of history with it, like first unbreakable on Egypt waaaay back in the day. But I was actually pretty surprised at how good it was compared to my main guns, especially considering how uncommon it is. I mean, it has a completely vertical recoil for the first few shots, full wallbang, and (without a helmet) it's always a 1hk headshot. Add in its insane RoF, and I really don't see why no one ever uses the G36K anymore. I had a few people even ask to borrow it, like they might for some rare ZP crate gun, because it's so underused.
So why is the G36K so unloved? =(

Think of it this way, a guy just started playing Crossfire enters a game, sees bunch of people using m4, ak47, xm8 (or even freakin m12) etc. and so he decides to simply buy that since he saw how good it is and how everyone uses it. Doesn't even bother to try other guns cause he didn't see them in action and automatically concludes that all others are inferior to these (even worse when G36 requires staff sergeant rank while you can get M4 right away) so gun slowly falls to oblivon.
Also G36 is quite an old rifle so there's probably lots of people who already used it for a long time and simply decided to try something else like gave other guns a chance, found something better or simply got bored with it.
That is ofc, just my opinion, I knew G36 is an awesome rifle (I **** zombies with it in Biohazard) but I never bought it since I gamble away all my money before I even get close to 48k GP required for it xD (force of habit, damn Black Market :<).
I can tell you numbers of other excellent and yet underrated or simply never used guns. -
Because most people favor the M4A1 or the AK-47, underestimating the potential of the G36K. It's fairly expensive as a GP gun, and overlooked by ZP gun owners.
It used to be my main gun, especially in GM. But then they introduced suppressed M4A1s, and pin pointing became a key component of the game.
I'm still hoping that the devs will make one of these one day...
It would probably become the most used rifle in GM. It certainly would become my new gun for GM. -

lol funny thing i havent used it in like two years, but G36K was my first ever gun that I bought on my account and I used it again today for one game of Cairo TD. I was doing so bad with it, like 17-9... then I ended with 32-13
i will always love this gun... although i ak-silver like all the time now, the G36 reminds me of my humble beginnings (same reason i spontaneously use the regular ak sometimes) -

i do to just for that reason..my first 3 are ak scope, g36 and the type89..love em -
I really like it. Its sort of feels like an SMG though, low/med damage, high ROF.People that keep saying it has low/mid damage, have obviously never looked at its states, not properly used it. The G36K has a better damage output than the M4A1, FFS.
