    Exactly my point.
  • Google Union Strike CAT Joliet IL.

    Fun days begin. :)
  • yes, because anyone can do what they do without anyone teaching them so they should sit down and work for horrible pay

i'm sure its easy enough to embrace that point of view when you get paid for sitting in a chair watching monitors.

I also do Fire / Hazmat / First Response / EMT. Maintain the fire system and fire suppresion systems, which includes but no limited too, PIV, S-PIV, OSY, Sprinklers, Halon systems, Oxygen tanks, Nitrogen, Argon, Propylene, Anhydrous Ammonia, TB1031 and TB1032(Carbon Dioxide) Nice assumption though. ;) Brilliant.

Also note that 90% of these guys sit in a chair and push a button once and hour. REAL HARD LABOR there as well. ;)

But ya I guess all I do is sit and watch monitors. ;)

Get your facts before assumptions. :)
  • Yes, maintaining automatic systems must be a pain.

You see them pushing a button, so that is their job.

70% of my job is waiting, pushing a button once in a while.
The other 40% is skill limited to 150 people in this country (I'd list the gear I work here but its not like anyone cares)

I push a button most of the time, so obviously that is my job.

There is either more to their job than you see on your monitors, or they're stupid for crying about having to push a button.
    Someone is stupid. As always.

Intrigue me with what you run? Use to run a couple machines at a previous job that blew preforms/resin into bottles etc.

Actually curious what machines ya run. Might have heard of them might not. Been around quiet a few machines in my day as well. Most machines I see or have dealt with are millions upon millions of dollars in value. Curious to see if I have seen or worked one of yours. :)

Also the robotics section at work is quiet interesting.

But I suppose I can't see them from a monitor. LoL. Here is a FACT for ya. Cameras only display the out side perimeter and access points into my facility. We have none in side the Shop. Building is 1.3 Million Sq Ft. Do lots of walking. BECAUSE I can't see any of those things from my monitors. ;)
  • Security guard rofl and trying to talk garb to people that actually work and have higher education than you will probably ever have.

Yeah, get on their balls please. Not like you will understand Fluid mechanics any time soon, or ever at all. And not to mention your company seems to making quite a bit of cash without giving back to the workers. (And I know this because I have quite a few stocks invested in these guys)

Talking about people who will take those jobs? I don't think so. Not that many people have Aeronautical degrees or higher level Mechanical engineering degrees. Not to mention everything that goes along with that.

    70% + 40% = 100%

    Wait .....what?!?
